Enter height and weight carefully
In metric units, BMI is weight in kilograms divided by height in metres squared. For example, 70 kg and 1.75 m gives about 22.9. If a field asks for centimetres, enter 175 rather than 1.75.

CalcMate currently offers one health tool: BMI. It relates weight to height and shows a broad screening category. Use the result as a starting point for understanding the measure, not as a complete health assessment.

CDC adult BMI guidance is for ages 20 and older. Children and teens need age- and sex-specific growth interpretation. This tool does not calculate pediatric percentiles.
BMI does not distinguish fat from muscle or identify fat distribution. Clinical assessment can also consider history, examination and other measures. Pregnancy and individual circumstances require interpretation beyond a general adult category.
