Test your reaction time online for free. Wait for the signal, respond as quickly as possible, and compare your best reflex score.
Objective, rules, and result
Start a trial, wait for the signal to turn green, and respond once. The result is elapsed time in milliseconds; tapping before the signal is a false start and does not count as a valid reaction.
How to play
- Start the test and wait without tapping early.
- Tap or click immediately when the signal changes.
- Repeat the challenge and try to improve your reaction time.

- Rest a finger or pointer near the response area to avoid unnecessary travel.
- Keep attention on the signal without predicting the delay, because anticipation produces false starts.
Device and accessibility notes
The response works by click or tap. The state change includes visible text in addition to colour, and the measured result is written in milliseconds. Motor latency and device input lag affect comparisons.
Use the Settings control above the game to turn sound or vibration off and to reduce interface motion. Expand mode can provide a larger play area. Records are stored only in this browser when storage is available.
