How to play Pong
Play Pong online for free in solo or two-player mode. Choose an AI difficulty, add spin with angled hits, and race to seven points.
Objective, rules, and result
A player scores when the opponent misses the ball. The first side to seven points wins the match, in either solo play against the computer or local two-player mode.
How to play
- Move your paddle using touch, mouse, W and S, or the arrow keys.
- Return the ball and use the paddle edges to create sharper angles.
- Be the first player to score seven points and win the match.
Controls
Keyboard and mouse: Use W/S or Arrow keys; mouse movement also works.
Touch: Drag your paddle on your side of the table.
Shortcuts: Space: serve; P: pause.
Strategies to try
- Meet the ball with the upper or lower paddle edge to create a sharper return angle.
- Recover toward the centre after each hit so both high and low returns remain reachable.
Device and accessibility notes
Paddles support W/S, Arrow keys, mouse, or touch drag; Space serves and P pauses. Score is displayed numerically. Two-player keyboard use shares one device.
Use the Settings control above the game to turn sound or vibration off and to reduce interface motion. Expand mode can provide a larger play area. Records are stored only in this browser when storage is available.
